What is 3D Laser Scanning?
• 3D laser scanning is a complete and accurate 3D capture of existing conditions within a scene
• Detailed, accurate measurements of surface geometry create an X-Y-Z coordinate for each return signal
• Collected measurements are stored in the form of an ultra dense point cloud
• Point cloud is a 3D digital world of the captured scene readily available for measurements
• Multiple scans can be geo-referenced together utilizing conventional survey methods resulting in a 360° view
