INTRODUCTION

 Asian Development Bank (ADB).

It Forecast India’s Growth for the currentfinancial year to 8.5%.

Earlier in april 2010 ADB forecast India'sgrowth was 8.2%.

 ADB is also concern over persistent high

rate of inflation and Rising value of rupee, which can

undermine future economic growth.

Membership

Membership in the Bank shall be open to:

(1) members and associate members of theUnited Nations Economic Commission for Asia

and Far East; and(2) other regional countries and non-regionaldeveloped countries which are members of theUnited Nations or any of its specialized agencies.

 Vote of 2/3rd of the total number of Governors,representing not less than 3/4th of the totalvoting power of the members.
