Launching Reports

• Select Accounts from the tabs across the top of the page

• From Task Selector, click the dropdown menu to View and select the correct view for your type of account (Broker, Importer, etc.) and click GO Wait for screen to refresh

New ACE Reports Layout • An updated user interface for reports functionality was deployed October

31. The updated layout includes: • New landing page • Tabular reports structure • Revised training resources page

• Through the updated interface, users see more streamlined features, thereby allowing users to find reports more quickly and with greater ease.

• Effective December 7, 2015 • Both the legacy and the new reports layout will be available • The updated Home tab will be the default view/the initial view to display. • The legacy folder layout can be accessed via the Documents tab.

• Please Note: In January, a significant percentage of legacy public/canned reports will be retired due to infrequent use.

Must Type Capital Letters / No Lower Case Letters Enter Entry Number with no dash or space

Enter “list”. i.e. You can add multiple Entry numbers (no dashes) separated by a ; For example: OHL00000000;OHL11111111

Tip on Report Results

Partial Results

• Reports attempting to download more data than the report can handle will display a warning icon in the lower, right corner of the ACE Reports interface

• Moving your mouse over the icon will display a tooltip indicating that Partial Results have been returned

• Re-Run report with a narrower search criteria (i.e. date range)

How to Save “Canned” ACE Reports in My Favorites

• From Public Folders / Search - You can save to My Favorites

• This is for “canned” ACE report with no modification

How to Apply Filter to ACE Report • Click on Beginning Cell (B12) • Apply Filters

How to Modify Reports

1. Launch the appropriate ACE Report from “Public Folders”

2. Allow the report prompts display, click on the Cancel button to display an empty report in “Reading” mode

3. From the report’s main toolbar, click on Design to switch view modes

4. Once “Design” mode is displayed, click on the Data Access tab

5. Select Edit from the “Data Providers” tab

6. The “query panel” displays providing access to all objects in the report’s universe and the ability to choose which objects to display in results and filter on

7. Add Desired Objects by dragging to results object (search by object name)

Some objects are non-compatible

8. Filter conditions Add and Remove Limit and combine sets of conditions

9. Data Preview to ensure objects are compatible 10. Click on the Run Query button to obtain report data 11. Drag Objects from Available Objects to report results in the

order you wish to display 12. Save Modified Report in My Favorite Folder for further use 13. Further Modify from My Favorite

1. Launch the appropriate ACE Report

• Once you cancel prompts window, Retrieving Data

window will indicate “No data to retrieve in Query 1” - Click OK

The empty report will indicate the data fields that will be returned in the report without modification

• “System Source Code” which displays either ACS or ACE. This field indicates

the system in which the entry summary was filed
