About GMU

• It was established in 1938, was one of the nine national medical college in China

• It is the only key medical university which runs undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D. programs in Guizhou province.

• Two campuses covering a total area about 124 hectares

• GMU has 9 affiliated hospitals, among which the Affiliated Hospital of GMU, founded in 1941, is the largest and best in Guizhou

INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION PROGRAM

• The university started to recruit overseas students in 2014, and then the School of

Overseas Education was established.

• Overseas undergraduates can be enrolled in such fields as Clinical Medicine, General

Medicine, Preventive Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing and Medical Experiments etc.

Meanwhile, overseas postgraduates and doctoral students can be also recruited in majors

and fields related to Basic Medicine and Clinical Medicine.

• At present, there are 232 overseas undergraduates and postgraduates majored in Clinical

Medicine and Internal Medicine (Chinese Medium) from India, Cambodia, Ghana, Nigeria,

Cameroon, Pakistan and other countries.
