Late Lala Karam Chand Thapar in 1936 and renamed as Shree Gopal Paper Mills Limited. Merged with Ballarpur Paper and Straw Board Mills Ltd to form Ballarpur Industries

Limited in 1969. Total area : 166 acres, Factory, 115 Acres, Colony 51 Acres 2 Paper machines - 34 TPD & 18 TPD , 32 TPD Grass Pulp Mill . MV Turbine with low pressure coal boilers . Chemical Recovery Plant with roasters.
