Implementation of TAS (ICAC recommendations)

• Assessment should be based on experiments of similiar nature and complexity

• Records of assessment of laboratory performance should be kept until the completion of the assessment cycle ((Form 902)

TAS Software

• The software for 2006 exam will be available in November 2004.

• Different packages for the 2005 exam and 2006 exam.

Submission of TAS marks

• 1. Declare close relatives being assessed by the teacher. (‘Close relatives’ includes: sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, nephews and nieces, and cousins)

• 2. Use diskette labels, envelope cover for the return of S6 and S7 assessment records (school & subject info preprinted)

• Last day to inform principals/teachers of TAS ‘A’ schools to submit candidates’ 2-year laboratory report to HKEAA.

• Last day for submission of S.7 candidates’ 2-year laboratory report books to HKEAA. (Only for those ‘A’ schools which have been informed of submitting laboratory report books.)
