Magdala (Migdal), at the Via Maris, is located in the hub of Jesus’ public ministry, just 4.5 m south of Capernaum and the Mount of Beatitudes.

Multimedia CenterAn attractive center will be built, using state of the art technology to present the life of Jesus and enhance the visitors’ experience .

Walk With Me Center: The Reception area.

International Center for Women’s StudiesMagdala, (Mary Magdalene), an ideal location for feminine spirituality and reflection, inspired by sacred scripture.

Spirituality CenterHere pilgrims will pray, participate in the liturgy and sacraments, understand and celebrate the events of Jesus’ public life.

Only 7 first century synagogues have been uncovered. This is the most ornate

and the only one in Galilee.
