Creating a Shareable Link for Your Videos

Before you can embed a video in your Aporfolio, you must upload your video to your freeAppalachian State youtube account to create a link.

Step 1 Go to Youtube.comand click on the SignIn button.

Step 2 Sign in using yourAppalachian Stateemail.

Step 3 Click Create aChannel.

Step 4 Upload your video(when uploadingmake sure your videois public)

Step 5 Click the Optionsbutton after the videohas uploaded (threevertical dots) andcopy the shareablelink.

Embedding Your Videos

Once the shareable link has been copied, you can now allow viewers of your Aportfolio toeasily watch videos by adding a video embed to your Aportfolio page.

Step 1 To embed yourvideo, click the blueAdd Content buttonin the bottomright-hand corner.

Step 2 Near the bottom ofyour Library, selectthe Embed icon.

Step 3 Paste your URL inthe appropriatespace, then clickEmbed at thebottom right-handcorner.

Step 4 You will now beable to see yourvideo on yourAportfolio!
