Day 1: Friday, September 1 • The adventure begins with a motorcoach ride to Chicago’s
O’Hare airport to board your overnight flight to Heathrow Airport in London, arriving mid-morning on Saturday.
Day 2: Saturday, September 2 (D)• Upon arrival, you will enjoy a panoramic sightseeing tour
of the city including, the Tower of London, Big Ben, Coca Cola London Eye and the exhibition at Tower Bridge.
• You’ll have free time in the afternoon after checking in at the Copthorne Tara Hotel.
• Enjoy a welcome dinner in a local restaurant.

Day 3: Sunday, September 3 (B, D)• You’ll start your day with a visit to Highclere Castle - aka
Downton Abbey. • Depart for Bath. Jane Austen fans will recognize many
streets and squares from the novels and visit the preserved Roman Baths.
• Check into the Abbey Hotel Bath for the next two (2)nights.
Day 4: Monday, September 4 (B, Tea, D) • You’re on your way to Stonehenge, Europe’s most famous
prehistoric site. • Next visit Lacock Abbey where Pride and Prejudice, Harry
Potter, Wolf Hall and Downton Abbey, amongst others, were filmed.
• Enjoy a traditional afternoon tea at The Bridge Tea Rooms.
Day 5: Tuesday, September 5 (B, D)• Travel to the Cotswolds -- hundreds of small towns and
villages that combine into a romantic place to visit. • Stop in Bampton, the village where most of Downton
Abbey’s outdoor scenes were filmed. Fans will recognize Crawley’s house exterior, St. Mary’s Church and the library, which serves as the entrance to the cottage hospital.
• Check into The Holt Hotel for the next two (2) nights.
Day 6: Wednesday, September 6 (B, D) • Enjoy a walking tour of Oxford, home of Oxford
University and Christ Church where scenes from the Harry Potter films were shot.
• Drop into the Eagle & Child Pub where JRR Tolkein and CS Lewis regularly met to read out passages of their books.
• Finish the day with a private tour of Blenheim Palace.

Park, which served as Netherfield in Pride and Prejudice. • Visit Windsor Castle.• Check back in at Copthorne Tara Hotel for the next three
(3) nights.
Day 8: Friday, September 8 (B, L)• Today is a full day in London. • Tour Westminster Abbey, followed by a lunch cruise on
the River Thames. • Visit St. Paul’s Cathedral before returning to the hotel.
Day 9: Saturday, September 9 (B, D)• Today is a free day in London. • Enjoy a farewell dinner for your last evening. Day 10: Sunday, September 10 (B)• You’ll fly out of Heathrow Airport at lunch time today and
arrive at Chicago’s O’Hare airport early afternoon.• Journey to our Iowa departure cities with lots of new
