Fijian Soccer League of Greater Vancouver

On behalf of Surrey City Council it is my pleasure to introduce the inaugural magazine of the Fijian Soccer League of Greater Vancouver (FSLGV). This magazine contains helpful information on the teams, the history and the formation of this excellent league. The City of Surrey is proud to support healthy, active living and the FSLGV does a great job of promoting these goals. Encouraging healthy competition allows players to put their skills to the test and improve their abilities, both as individuals and as teams. Skills learned through sport, teamwork, perseverance and sacrifice, are transferrable to all areas of life. It is my hope that you are able to enjoy the many facilities Surrey has available for soccer in our great city. Recently the City embarked on the largest capital works program in our history. The “Build Surrey” program has seen new projects built in every one of our unique Town Centres, including new artificial turf fields.
