A narrative of Northwest Romance...advanced design strategies at every turn...brimming with art, stretching your

imagination... intensifying the vibrant views.

An outdoor living theatre of water, treasured gardens, respecting waterlife habitats and communicating with the sun and clouds and eagles and occasional otters. Multiple decks create patterns of conversation areas. The substantial dock has deep moorage capability and multiple boat capacity. Congregations of sloops racing to beat the wind; yachts and dinghies from Seafair and Opening Day putting on their finery and jaunting around the Island on a sightseeing excursion.

The journey is not an attitude but a lifestyle of stories. Mitered windows give views freedom to impress. Each sunset a new memory ~ ripples on the lake an accompaniment. A home of comfort and confidence with the genius of panache.

Postscript: This residence is a chronicle of Seattle’s memoire forward from when the foundation was poured. The anecdotes are delightful as they divulge narratives of those who have walked through the door. It is time for new testimony... bringing in echoes for the future and laying a base for the next tier of history.

Mercer Island Parks

Mercer Island has 475 acres of parks and open spaces. Mercer Island Parks are open for year-round enjoyment and are the

perfect place for a variety of activities like: baseball, soccer, volleyball, having a picnic or taking a walk with the family.

Pioneer Park is our largest park, with 113 acres of beautiful forest and 6.6 miles of trails. The Park has been kept in a

natural state so that Island residents and other visitors can easily “get out” in the woods through the course of their daily

lives. Roads divide the park into three distinct quadrants.

Located on the northeast end of Mercer Island, Luther Burbank Park features spectacular views of Lake Washington, and has facilities for several water-based activities including swimming, boating and fishing. It is also a large park of 77 acres, and portions of its waterfront and wetlands foster a variety of wildlife such as 155 species of birds, beaver, muskrats and rabbits

There are many smaller parks, beach parks and street ends, providing an excellent opportunity for waterfront access and pursuing recreational activites.

Mercer Island schools

The Mercer Island School District is comprised of three elementary schools, one Middle School and one High School. The facilities, curriculum, instruction, and effective use of technology as a tool for learning are all factors in preparing students to think and succeed globally while using technology as an inherent part of everyday life. The district has more teachers with advanced education degrees than any other district in the Seattle area. It is known to be one of the highest assessment test-scoring districts in the State of Washington, and among the top in the nation.
