• Name/Hour in the upper right corner

• Title: 5 Themes of Geography

• Write the name of each theme

• Write your definition for each theme

• Draw a picture that represents each

theme

• Use color

• Correct spelling

1. Build a Table to organize information

(3 columns, 6 rows include a title row)

2. List the 5 themes of geography (location, place, region, movement, Human Environment interaction)

2. Write out the definition of each theme (check definitions)

3. Provide an example for each of them (picture or short phrase)

4. View the slides to determine which theme

5. Go through slide answers. (in class discussion)

AIM: Students will be able to identify the 5 Themes of Geography by viewing 10 slides. Student will list which theme is present in a table format.
