SCIENCEScience is “totality” awesome! After discussing God’s amazing universe and the solar eclipse, the class will learn some basic science safety rules this week. Please sign the Lab Safety Contract that will be sent home later this week and return by August 28. Then, we can begin to explore all that science has to offer. Thank you! I am looking forward to an amazing year!

MATH6A- Our year begins with a back-to-school review. We will review decimal place value, rounding, and comparing. Homework should be written in planners. The 1st quiz will be this Friday. Students can use notes taken in class to help review. 6B- This week we will focus on reviewing decimal place value, rounding, and comparing. Quiz Friday.

SOCIALSTUDIESThis week we will review the Eight Strands of Social Studies. The sixth graders will gain a deeper understanding of the Eight Strands by creating a group collage! We will also review the Five Themes of Geography! Possible Quiz this Friday!

SCIENCEScience is “totality” amazing! We began the week viewing God’s incredible universe, viewing the solar eclipse LIVE on NASA’s site. This week, the class will complete their group posters of what science means to them. Then, they will learn about the scientific method. I am looking forward to a wonderful year of science adventures!
