How did you use new media technologies in the

construction , research and planning and evaluation stages?

Blogger

Blogger allowed me to record the whole of my production content. Including research , planning and

evaluation

Blogger allowed me to do a wide range of interesting things like upload drafts of trailers , posters and

magazines .

It also allowed me to share my work with millions of people via web 2.0. This was particularly useful

regarding questionnaires and audience feedback.

Through the use of blogger I have learnt how to use the new digital technology of HTML and Encoding

Digital & Video Cameras

The canon legria fs200 was the video camera used to film the majority of footage. Its small , light weight

and agile making it easy to use is any circumstances

I have learnt to adjust the focus and zoom of the video camera to achieve my required effect. Both seen here

The Olympus E-520 SLR digital camera was the camera used to take the images for my poster and

magazine front cover. SLR cameras are a recent digital technology which allows you to achieve

professional quality images in just a flash.

I learnt how to adjust the flash and lighting of the digital camera to ensure the image was lit

appropriately. Seen here in the original image of my poster and magazine before manipulation

iMovie 10

IMovie is video editing software pre loaded onto an apple mac computer. It allows for precision editing and organisation of clips . This was the programme that allowed the construction of my movie trailer

The SD compatible video recorder meant it was easy to transfer selected footage from the cameras on to

iMovie .

Through IMovie I learnt how to adjust saturation and exposure of shots as well as adding special effects.

The software also allowed me to add a soundtrack and stingers to my movie.

Photo FX Ultra in an application software available on the Apple iPad. It allows you to add hundreds of

effects and manipulate chosen images.

Word 2011 was the application I used to construct my media poster and magazine front cover. The new

features of the ever developing programme allowed me to layer images and choose from thousands of

fonts
