Type LV disc valves are suitable for all types of ventilationsystems. Types LVS and S-LVS have been redesigned andthus satisfy the highest standards for comfort criteria.Depending on the application, different constructions are
available for supply (types Z-LVS and S-Z-LVS) and extract(types LVS, S-LVS; LVA and LVK).
By rotating the central disc, the air volume can be changedthis results in changes to acoustic data and pressure dropfigures.

Construction Installation Details LVS Z-LVS
The disc valves consist of the valve ring and central disc.
To guarantee a perfect seat, the valve ring is fitted with a
peripheral sealing strip.The air volume flow is adjusted by rotating the central discwhich alters the size of the gap. The central disc is held inposition with a locknut.
A bayonet fitting is used to mount the LVS and Z-LVS typesin the installation subframe.
The units are supplied with an installation subframe.
Material LVS Z-LVS
Face sections made of sheet steel with electrostatic powdercoating (similar to RAL 9010, coating thickness 60 m),
threaded spindle and nut made of galvanised steel,installation subframe made of galvanised sheet steel.
Construction Installation Details S-LVS S-Z-LVS
Disc valves S-LVS and S-Z-LVS are suitable for use inprotected areas for civil defence purposes.The construction is the same as of the LNS and Z-LVStypes, but the units have been shock-tested.
Data on shock resistance:Usage certificate No. 029/92Regulation test class: RK 1.0/10Safety level: A (unrestricted shock resistance)

Installation subframe for LVS Z-LVS and S-LVS S-Z-LVS
Mounting the installation subframe withscrews through the holes provided in theflange.
If the unit is mounted to a slightly suspendedceiling the spikes can be bent out from theflange, pressed into the ceiling material andsubsequently bent again.

Construction Installation Details LVA LVK
The construction of disc valves LVA and LVK is similarstructurally to that of the type LVS.
A screw fixing is used for fixing to the installation subframe.
The disc valves are also supplied with an installationsubframe.
Materials LVA
Face sections and installation subframe are diecastaluminium with no additional treatment, threaded spindleand lock nut are in galvanised steel.
Materials LVK
Face sections and installation subframe, threaded spindleand lock nut are white plastic (impact-resistant polystyrene).
