• 62 courses • 526 trade operators,
including 24% women• 36 developing
countries, 11 LDCs• 5 train-the-trainers
courses for 94 trade operators
• 361 trainees were trained by local trainers

TFT CORE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE ACTIVITIES
• Create national committees and sub-committees • Conduct periodic needs assessments and identify priority actions• Team up international and national experts to develop and deliver capacity building activities (face-to-face and e-learning)• Develop networks and a supporting web platform• Identify national potential trainers and technical facilitators • Train the national trainers and technical facilitators • Support project stakeholders and national trainers in replicating capacity development activities (on-line & face-to-face) at the national and provincial level• Conduct studies in cooperation with national stakeholders to gather information and provide input for policy recommendations• Organise study tours for government representatives to identify best practices in other countries and exchange on lessons learned• Hold national events to build on findings from field studies and study tours• Advisory services
