The Sprite

I created this sprite, it is a spaceship.

I thought a spaceship would be cool and it was simple, I added some unique features to the

spaceship to make it look awesome like for example its cannon for a gun. The sprite is

inspired from spaceships from cartoons.

Sprites Property’s

At this point I created the sprites property’s giving the sprite a collision mask which will

make the sprite react with its surroundings. I also modified the mask so it would be easier to

control its collision mask and I made the origin centred.

At this point I created coding for my sprite which will allow the sprite to move around in the

game using the keyboard buttons WASD and I gave the sprite extra property’s to make it

persistent in the game which is important for the main character.

At this point I added code like a border on my sprite to prevent it from leaving the screen.

At this point I am creating the thruster behind my spaceship to make it look like it is flying

through space at top speed.
