discuss.

your interview?

•silence: most people are uncomfortable with silence, so they will try to "fill" it by talking; as the interviewer, you may choose to use silence to encourage the interviewee to say more.

•nudging probes: these "questions" encourage interviewees to keep talking, but don't suggest a particular direction

20?) that you plan to use for your interview. Make sure that they are grouped by category/organized logically.

• Monday: Bring group Group Speaking Task 3 assignment description. You will have time to work on this with your group.

• Each group should have one person bring a device with access to the internet to class on Tuesday.

• Email your interview partner to get the process started…see pg. 7 of your handout for the emailing protocol. Recommendation: Suggest a time sometime between 13th and 22nd.
