Reflection

What an incredible journey this has been! I never would

have imagined that my in-depth focus on one child could

open up such a realm of strategy, creativity, and innovation

without limit to share with all the children I currently work

with or will work with in the future.

I have enjoyed my 21st Century explorations and

collaborations with colleagues who have such a wide range

of expertise, all in learning more about Fatima’s needs and

how to better meet them. At the same time, listening to my

peers in this course also has given me insight to fresh ideas

and knowledge that I might use with students I have, or will

have with similar issues.

I look forward to continuing the journey with Fatima,

and those like her that will follow, in hopes of making a

difference…that is, after all, what teaching is all about.

"There is a brilliant child

locked inside every student."
