In the Spring of 2020, we partnered with Blue Star Families in a campaign to collect the most ingenious MilFam cleaning hacks. It was such a hit that we’re doing it again this Fall! AND all of the nalist videos in that competition can be found at:

bluestarfam.org/milfamspringclean. There are so many great tips there for you to check out! Stay tuned for more information in the coming days on the Fall version where we’ll be collecting even more great ideas. We are proud to partner with Blue Star Families and want to encourage you to take full advantage of all the great (and free!) programs and services this awesome organization has to o-er. You can nd a local chapter, peruse career opportunities geared towards military spouses, nd great activities for your kids, or participate in their many virtual programs by going to: bluestarfam.org. Employee Spotlight September’s employee spotlight goes to Matt McCollough. Matt is a maintenance technician for LRFH. Two fun facts about Matt is:

He met Ice Cube on a roller coaster

When he was a teenager for about six years he traveled the southern states playing in tennis tournaments

When asked what he loves about his job Matt said, “One thing I love about my job is solving emergency situations for residents”.

September 5th: This will be the last time the pool will be open, after this date it will be clos-ing for the summer. September 7th: In observance of Labor Day, the office will be closed. September 10th: To celebrate #NationalWaffleWeek, come by the Welcome Center from 4:00 pm—6:00 pm September 10 and grab breakfast for dinner. First come first serve while supplies last. This will be done drive through style due to social distancing. **LRFH Residents only**
