My Aged Care Services
Funded through the Commonwealth
Department of Social Services (DSS) for the following services:
- Allied Health (Occupational Therapy assessments)
- Home modifications (Minor – Complex/Major)
- Home maintenance (Home, Yard & Lawnmowing)
Clients are referred through the MAC Gateway and/or the MAC Regional Assessment Service (RAS) teams.
Previous clients can self-refer though need to register now with MAC
Our Funded Services
Disability Services – all recurrent funding ceased to NSW at 30.6.18
Some transitional funding was received across the Illawarra/Shoalhaven
NSW Family & Community Services (FACS – ADHC)
- Allied Health (Occupational Therapy assessments)- Home modifications (Minor – Complex/Major)- Home maintenance (Home, Yard & Lawnmowing)
• Illawarra Region (including Shoalhaven) transitioned to NDIS 1st July 2017 so • Southern Highlands Region – transitioned to NDIS 16/17 – no funding• Hunter Region – transitioned to NDIS in 16/17 – no funding
Eligible clients were under 65 (or under 50 for ATSI clients) and received service under FACs funding unless they had transitioned to the NDIS scheme.

(University of Wollongong) compete in the 2018 Solar Decathlon Competition
in Dubai. Part of the criteria was for accessibility and function to support
people living with age-related mobility issues and dementia.
