Orientation for Ohio Advisors attending the National Leadership and Skills Conference

Agenda for the Day Overview and Welcome General Comments from Director Break into separate events

Advisors Delegates

Lunch together around 11:30 Return to breakout events

Traveltyme Handles all hotel reservations Will collect all fees with regard to registration, hotel Will deal with any issues regarding Hotels

Ohio Hotel Block Louisville Ramada Plaza Hotel and Conference Center

Bluegrass Parkway Primary Ohio Hotel All Ohio Meetings will start from here Pick up Transportation Here

LaQuinta Inn and Suites Alliant Parkway Overflow Hotel Kelly Kramer will serve as point of Contact No Bus Transportation

Hotel Check-in Traveltyme will facilitate Check-in Begins at 4 pm at the hotel Check-in with traveltyme per instructions mailed out. Do this before coming to Ohio Registration area. DO NOT GO TO FRONT DESK FOR KEYS

Hotel Supervision School is responsible for Hotel Supervision Be respectful of other guests Keep doors and vehicles locked Do not leave valuables in Hotel No Horseplay in Pool or Commons Areas Enforce Ohio Curfew – No Exceptions

Ohio Check-in Bring everyone to Ramada Hotel’s Conference Center for

registration and check-in Will begin at 4 pm Allow ample time to get registered before 6 pm dinner. Must have Name badge to enter Mandatory Dinner Meeting

at 6 pm

Ohio Mandatory Dinner Monday – 6 pm – Ramada Plaza Hotel and Conference

Center Mandatory for anyone staying in an Ohio Block. If a school has someone missing this event without State Director

approval, they risk the whole school being disqualified Bring a Pencil Bring Name Badge and Conference Program Dinner will be provided Dress is Casual Attire

Meetings after Dinner Contestants – will remain for PDP Testing Delegates – will meet to review logistics for Tuesday Lead Advisors should pickup final materials Career Pathways Showcase will meet with Mr. Cowles Additional Meetings will be announced during orientation if

needed

Ohio Friday Evening Banquet Immediately following Awards Ceremony Official Dress or Business Attire NO PARENTS OR OUTSIDE GUESTS Must be part of Traveltyme Group Must have Name badge to enter

Tuesday’s Agenda Techspo Opens TAG Tuesday event for Delegates (mandatory) (NO

SHORTS) Orientations for Many Contest Bus Transportation Begins Opening Ceremony – Mandatory for all Delegates and

Contestants and their Advisors. Official Dress or Business Attire Stay for the whole session

Wednesday’s Agenda Delegate Sessions Competitions per schedule TECHSpo Night on your own ZOO Package

Thursday Agenda Delegate Sessions Competitions Amusement Park

Friday’s Agenda Delegate Sessions Community Service Contest DeBriefings Awards Ceremony – Official Dress for all Contestants and
