• 17 Chapter members attended the National Conference in

Houston

• Sent 4 students from Georgia Tech to the National Conference

– 2 students secured internships

• Awarded 38 scholarships to high school seniors and continuing

education students

• Assisted Georgia Tech Student Chapter

• Black Data Processors Association (BDPA) Smart Phone app

development

2014 Highlights

• Held successful network/mixer

• Provided comments on Environmental Protection Agency’s

proposed ruling on Greenhouse Gas

• Set fundraising record for 12th Annual Golf Tournament -

$22,876 (net proceeds)

• Touched 145 students at our Annual BEAM program at Georgia

Tech

• Prepared meals with Open Hand Atlanta

• Held 1st Career Ready Expo at Austin Middle School in Henry

County – touched over 100+ students
