AUDITION REQUIREMENTS

- Own choice work (eg a concerto movement or other appropriate solo work);

- Four Orchestral Excerpts (as provided on the following pages) ORCHESTRAL EXCERPTS

- Prepare all four of the excerpts provided; - You are expected to observe all markings and instructions on the

excerpts (including bowing, dynamics, tempi etc); - You will be assessed on tempo, rhythm, dynamics, phrasing and tone.

GENERAL INFORMATION

- Your audition will be unaccompanied; - Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your audition time; - Your audition will last approximately 7-10 minutes; - Due to time constraints, you may be asked to stop playing before you

reach the end of your own choice work.
