Age Group Structure

• Three training groups: U6/8, U10, U12/14

• U6 = YOB 2009, 2010• U8 = YOB 2007, 2008• U10 = YOB 2005, 2006• U12 = YOB 2003, 2004• U14 = YOB 2001, 2002

Typical Training Day

Logistics• Drop off by 6:00pm with all gear on, all parking

at lake normandale, take shuttle.• Athletes meet coaches at age group signs: U6/8,

U10, U12/14.• After 6:15pm, you must bring your child to the

TG competition center to find a coach.• Pick up athlete at age group signs at 8:00pm

(Please park first)

Training day continued…

• Eat/hydrate before training session.• Bathrooms will be available on site.

On snow training• Skills quest training: – Edging, pressure, rotary, balance

Typical Race Day

• All at Hyland on Select Sundays, 8:00-NoonJan. 11, Jan. 25, Feb. 1, Mar. 1

• Check in between 8:00-8:30 to get your bib

• Red, Blue, and Purple Teams race together

• Courses divided by gender, U6 go first.

Granite Peak Camp

• Feb. 7-8, Wausau, Wisconsin• Online sign-up, lift tickets and coaching

included• Travel as a family• Ski Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning.• Lodging at Grand Lodge Waterpark Resort– Saturday night pool party!
