Priority Axis 3Objective 3 Increased use of energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions in housing and public infrastructures

• Objective: More reliable, sustainable and affordable energy supply in remote and low dense populated areas

• Results sought: Increased awareness about and increased readiness to invest in energy efficiency measures and renewable energy solutions whit in the housing sector and public infrastructures

• Actions supported: Facilitating decision-making concerning energy within housing and public infrastructure sector. Facilitating transfer of new knowledge and technology to relevant stakeholders.

• Main target groups and end users: Housing sector, public sector, local supply and service companies

• Types of partners: Wide range of organisations & public authorities within energy sector

Priority Axis 4Objective 4: Increased capacity of remote and sparsely populated communities for sustainable management

• Objective: To help communities mitigate negative impacts from climate change and from mega-project investments

• Results sought: Increased preparedness for community-based sustainable environmental management.

• Actions supported: Up-skilling local authority and community groups, development of new organisation models, pooling competences across borders

• Main target groups and end users: Local and regional communities, local business, local employees and visitors

• Types of partners: Public sector, organisations, social enterprises
