(Workshops are held 9:00am-12:00pm in University Hall unless noted) Check all workshops for which you are registering and including personal or ordering school check now.

___ Sept 6: Steps & Strategies for Teaching WRITING in all grades ($25)

___ Sept 20: NEW—MEMOIR Reading & Writing to Connect Fiction & Nonfiction Reading and Narrative & Informative Writing: Engaging All Students & Meeting All ELA Standards [These strategies can also be employed for personal narrative writing and reading]

(*$50 includes Bridging the Gap: Reading Critically & Writing Meaningfully to Get to the Core)

___ Nov 1: READER RESPONSE Strategies to Increase Comprehension of Complex Texts in All Content Areas & Meet Standards in Reading and Writing (*$50 includes The Write to Read)

___ Dec 6: Strategies to Teach OPINION & ARGUMENT Writing ($25)

___ Jan 24: Full Day—9:00-3:30: 6-TRAIT Writing & Assessment ($65 includes catered lunch)

___ Feb 7: Strategies for Teaching VOCABULARY ($25)

___ Feb 28: CSWP LITERACY CONFERENCE: Keynote and 2 Breakout Sessions (8:45-12:45) ($25)

___ Mar 28: COLLABORATION Strategies to Engage Reluctant Readers & Writers and Plan Units that Meet Standards in Reading, Writing, Speaking & Listening (*$40 includes No More “Us” and “Them)

___ Apr 18: POETRY Writing ($25)

___May 2 am: 9:00-12:00 Teaching Reading through K-12 READING WORKSHOP ($25) ___May 2 pm: 1:00-4:00 Teaching Writing through K-12 WRITING WORKSHOP ($25) ($40 for both sessions)
