HEADLINENO PASSPORT REQUIRED
Living out the Great Commandment to love God and others (Matt. 22:37–39) can mean anything from getting on an airplane with a one-way ticket to Mongolia to simply picking up the phone to call a neighbor in need. We believe that every Christian can live out this commandment, and we have an exciting opportunity for you to par tner with us.
One of the goals of YWAM Publishing is to bring the exciting world of Christian missions right into your living room. Our Christian Heroes: Then & Now biography series takes you from the jungles of Ecuador to remote villages of Burma. Over 40 titles are now available, and more are coming.
These books change lives and inspire people of all ages to step out and make a difference. The feedback from readers has been nothing short of overwhelming. We’ve heard it all—from people becoming Christians to entire families moving to China to work with orphans.
Now we are offering you and your family the opportunity to reach across borders—yes, national borders—without having to leave your living room. We call it No Passport Required.
Our Spanish division, Editorial JUCUM, is partnering with mission agencies that have “people on the ground” throughout Latin America. From some of the poorest barrios in Colombia to the streets of Cuba, we have the ability to get these life-changing books into the hands of families and children who need them—God will do the rest.
Here’s how it works.
No Passport Required is an outreach that allows you to share the stories that have had an impact on you and your family. By making a donation, you can put Spanish editions of the Christian Heroes: Then & Now books into the hands of a child or family living in some of the poorest par ts of Latin America. For every $1.50 you give, we will send one book to Latin America! For example:
$30 will send 20 books – $60 will send 40 books – $150 will send 100 books
Once we receive your donation, we will ship your books to distribution teams and send you a tax-deductible receipt. We will also periodically send an e-mail newsletter updating you as a donor on how your books have been used.
In Latin America a book will frequently have multiple readers. So each book you donate is like a pebble dropped in water with a broad ripple effect.
To make a donation, simply fill out the order form on the back page. Or you can call, send a check, or go to our website and click on No Passport Required.

MATCHOne of the first Methodist bishops in America,
English-born Francis Asbury (1745–1816) devoted
his life to ministry, traveling on horseback to preach
to those living on the vast, isolated American
frontier. Alone in a new country with no home of
his own, Asbury rode over 300,000 miles—across
rivers and through rocky, overgrown
roads—shining God’s light on the fledgling
colonies. When many Methodist clergy
left America during the Revolutionary
War, Asbury stayed. His tireless leadership saw the movement
grow from 5,000 members in 1776 to over 200,000 at the time
of his death, fulfilling the great duty of his call and shaping future
generations.

The spiritual needs of the Muslim world, long neglected by
Christian missionaries, came to the world’s attention again
when Samuel Zwemer (1867–1952) dedicated himself to the
advancement of the gospel in Arabia. It was a tremendous
task, but a pledge the young American kept despite
opposition, difficulty, and death. Zwemer
founded the Arabian Mission in Bahrain
to serve Muslims through medical
care, Christian literature, and
preaching. With a heart on fire for
Muslim people, he relentlessly shared his vision worldwide, calling
many to action. Zwemer’s legacy of opening a long-closed door
challenges and inspires us today to love and respect Muslims and
to proclaim Jesus’ name in the homeland of Islam. Reg: $8.99 Special: $6.99 #87386
