Community Stewardship for Great Lakes resources is crucial to the sustainability of restoration work. In a flood management project on the Kinnickinnic River watershed on Milwaukee’s diverse south side, success has been achieved through grassroots efforts that overcome cultural and linguistic barriers and meet community needs.
