Albert Lea Area Schools will be above the state average at grade level in reading, math, and science according to MCA results by the end of 2011-2012.
Minnesota utilizes the MCAs to assess student progress towards state standards in reading, math, and science.
Albert Lea Area Schools will be above the state average on the ACT in English, Math, Reading, and Science by the end of 2011-2012.
The ACT, a standardized test, assesses high school students' general educational development and their ability to complete college-level work. The multiple-choice tests cover four skill areas: English, mathematics, reading, and science.
