PEFCU MEMBERS ELECT NEW BOARD West Lafayette, Ind. – April 7, 2010 – Purdue Employees Federal Credit Union (PEFCU), a member-owned cooperative governed by a nine-member volunteer board of directors, held its 2010 Annual Meeting on April 6 at Purdue University, in West Lafayette, Ind., with 96 members in attendance. Following the annual meeting, members celebrated PEFCU’s 2009 Readers’ Choice Awards honors and attended a Membership Benefits Fair. Members re-elected Stephen E. Brewer and Mark M. Moriarty, and elected Matthew G. Lerzak as members of the board of directors for a three-year term. Brewer is a corporate finance executive and entrepreneur with experience working with Pfizer, Corning and Great Lakes Chemical; Moriarty is an associate professor of management at Purdue University; and Lerzak is director of integrated solutions at Forsythe Solutions Group. Officers for the 2010-11 board of directors are Stephen Brewer, chair; Robert Bain, vice chair; P. Greggory Williams, treasurer; and Mark Moriarty, secretary. Other members of the board include Jayne Feathers, Matthew Lerzak, Thomas Moore, Susan Smith and John Trott. About PEFCU Founded on the Purdue University campus in 1969, Purdue Employees Federal Credit Union (PEFCU) boasts assets of nearly $600 million and serves more than 57,000 members nationwide. The credit union is driven by superior member service and is dedicated to serving the Greater Lafayette community.
