As the third generation of her familyto help lead My Cleaning Service, Inc.,Kathleen Bands Schindler, 25, staysinvolved in the company at all levels.She oversees new sales, marketing,business development and client reten-tion for the commercial cleaning firm.

She’s also helped bring the woman-owned business into the 21st centuryby increasing its online and socialmedia presence. The firm specializes ingreen cleaning practices.

“Since I have joined the company, Ihave been able to turn our website intoa lead-generating resource,” Schindlersaid. “In the last six months, I have beenable to generate over $30,000 in newrevenue.”

Schindler earned a bachelor’sdegree in business management atWashington College before joining MyCleaning Service, Inc. as website andgraphic designer. In 2012, she wasappointed vice president.

She is also public relations chair-man of Commercial Real Estate Women- Baltimore (CREW-Baltimore), co-chair of the annual Red Shoe Shuffle 5Kfundraiser for Red Shoe Crew, YoungProfessionals of Ronald McDonaldHouse Charities of Baltimore, sits onthe advisory board of the BusinessVolunteers Unlimited GIVE Programand serves as a board member ofCapital Association of Building ServiceContractors (CABSC).
