1. Using a dropper, suck out the media (liquid cell food), discard in waste beaker2. Using a clean dropper, cover with PBS and gently wash cells by rocking the dish3. Remove PBS and discard in waste tube. Using a clean dropper each time, do two
more PBS washes and discard. Check cells under scope when done.4. Using a clean dropper, add 2ml trypsin and rock in an ‘X’ pattern until cells are
detached (check on the scope, about 5min)5. Using a clean dropper, add 2ml DMEM and draw up all of the liquid with the
dropper DO NOT PUT INTO THE WASTE CONTAINER!!!6. Put the liquid into a clean, empty 15ml blue capped tube7. Wait for instructions to spin in centrifuge
