Gospel Reading

Gospel: John 6:41-51

Let us pause for a moment of reflection

Profession of Faith

I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord.

He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.

He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried.

He descended to the dead.

On the third day, He rose again.

He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and life everlasting. Amen!

Lord, hear us!

Prayer of the Faithful

One bread, one body, one Lord of all,

one cup of blessing which we bless.

Offertory Song

And we, though many,

throughout the earth,

we are one body in this one Lord.

Gentile or Jew, servant or free

woman or man, no more

One bread, one body, one Lord of all,

one cup of blessing which we bless.

And we, though many,

throughout the earth,

we are one body in this one Lord.

 Many the gifts,many the works,

one in the Lord of all.

One bread, one body, one Lord of all,

one cup of blessing which we bless.

And we, though many,

throughout the earth,we are one body in

this one Lord.

May the Lord accept the sacrifice at your hands,

for the praise and glory of His name, for our good and

the good of all His Church.

The Majesty and Glory of Your Name

When I gaze Into the night skies And see

the work of Your fingers

The moon and stars Suspended in space

Oh what is manOh what is man

That You are mindful of him?

You have given man A crown of glory and

honor And have made him A little

lower than the angels You have put him In charge of all

creation

The beasts of the field The birds of the air The fish of the sea But what is man. But what is man

Oh what is man that You are mindful of

him?

O Lord, our God The majesty and glory Of

Your name Transcends the earth And fills the heavens

O Lord, our God Little children praise You

perfectly And so would we And

so would we

Alleluia, Alleluia The majesty and

glory of Your name

Alleluia, Alleluia The majesty and

glory of Your name

Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia

Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia

Where there is fear, I can allay

Where there is pain I can heal

Where there are wounds I can bind,

And hunger I can fill.

Lord, grant me courage.

Lord, grant me strength.

Grant me compassion that I may be Your

heart today

Where there is hate I can confront

Where there are yokes I can release

Where there are captives I can free and

anger I can appease

Lord, grant me courage.

Lord, grant me strength.

Grant me compassion that I may be Your

heart today

When comes the day I dread to see a broken

world Compel me from my cell grown cold that Your people I may

behold.

Where there is fear, I can allay

Where there is pain I can heal

Where there are wounds I can bind,

And hunger I can fill.

Lord, grant me courage.

Lord, grant me strength.

Grant me compassion that I may be Your

heart today

And when I’ve done all that I could, yet there

are hearts I cannot move.

Lord give me hope that I may be Your heart

today.

Prayer to Our Lady of CandelariaEver Glorious and

Blessed Virgin Mary, Queen of

the Universe and

Mother of Mercy

chosen by the Fatherto be the

Mother of His Son,Jesus Christ,

I cast myself into your arms confident

of finding in your most loving heart

peace and fulfillment.

Oh treasure of Divine Grace

and Refuge of Sinners

be my guide and inspiration in this

valley of tears.

Oh fragrant Lily of Holiness

captivate my heart and have pity on my

urgent request …(mention your favor).

I ask this favor through that

love and humility which you showed at

the Presentation of the Child Jesus

in the Temple.

Oh Lady of Candelaria,

I thank the Lord for having given you to

me an unworthy person, to be my own mother

who is worthy of all my love.

Be always my intercessor

before Jesus for all the graces

necessary in my life.

Besides my personal necessities,

I also pray for the members of this

Parish, our Church leaders,

and especially our Priests.

In our quest for peace and reconciliation,

please give us the light to brighten our path in

this world and lead us

further to everlasting joy in heaven. Amen.

OurLady of

Candelaria, pray

for us.
