For hand piecing, maketemplates using dashed on lines on pattern pieces. Trace templates on wrong sideof fabrics, add 1⁄4" seam allowances all around and cut out. 2. Piece as shown in diagrams below:

3. Embroidery: Embroider all embroidery lines, as shown on block picture, with astem stitch using three strands of embroidery floss.
