MR imaging findings suggestive of metastatic compression fracture were

as follows:

MR imaging findings suggestive of acute osteoporotic compression

fracture were as follows :

T2

 Type 1: impacted compression fracture involving the anterior

column

Type2: incomplete bursting fracture involving the anterior and

middle columns .

Type 3: complete bursting fracture involving all three columns

Type 5 F:lexion-distraction fracture with flexion behind the anterior longitudinal ligament;

involvement of all three columns

Type 6: translation injury with or without axial rotation. (After

Wegener.)
