Manipulating Inequalities

Inequalities can be manipulated in the same way as equations

Doing the same thing to both sides give an equivalent result

EXCEPTWhen you multiply by a negative

number you must reverse the sign of the inequality (< becomes >, ≤ becomes ≥, etc)
