E-Lock Installation Reference Manual

1 Overview This document assumes that you have IT support/help available for installing the

software using Windows admin rights.

2 System Requirements

2.1 Supported OS

Windows 7 and above (Win 7, 8, 8.1 and 10)

2.2 Supported Browsers

Google Chrome v.50 and above

Mozilla Firefox v.47 and above

Internet Explorer 11 and above

Microsoft Edge v.38 and above

Opera v.43 and above

3 Procedure to download and install E-Lock Client installer

3.1 Download E-Lock eLockClientNSDL.exe

Login to NSDL portal. Navigate to login page to download the client installer and

click the text “click here” (yellow highlighted)

3.2 Installation steps for Windows users

Download ELockNSDLClient.exe

Right click and select Run as administrator to initiate installation

A Windows Defender check turns up as below

A prompt appears on the desktop with EULA. Click on “I agree”

Default location is C:\Program Files\E-Lock\SuperSigner PlusClient. Click on

Install

A message appears asking to close all web browsers for first time users and for

repeat users, the message asks to close all web browsers and SignApp application

Click Close when done

Restart the Computer

4 Procedure to uninstall E-Lock SuperSigner PlusClient

Go to start Menu and Cick E-lock SuperSigner Plus Client and then click on

Uninstall

5 Procedure to Restart E-Lock SuperSigner PlusClient

When on logon Certificate selection box is not appearing then try restarting the E-Lock

Super Signer Client
