8. Report of the Recommendations of the Peer Team (First cycle Accreditation) and Action Taken
1. R-To increase the number of permanent teachers to keep healthy student-teacher ratio A-Ours being a grant in aid college, recruitment process is carried on by state government. Due to government ban for longer span of time period, some posts remain unfilled. As government has issued NOC, sanctioned vacancies will be filled. Management has taken effective measures to appoint the visiting faculties. Hence at present student-teacher ratio is quite satisfactory.
2. R-Adequate attention to be given for faculty development for initiating modern teaching methods.
A—College has organized FDP in its campus and faculty members have also attended the workshops and FDPs organized by other institutions.
3. R-Better internet facility needs to be provided
A—Institution has done remarkable progress by increasing number of computers with internet access, browsing centers, number of labs and now the campus is equipped with Wi-Fi facility.
4. R-More emphasis to be given for ICT based teaching and learning process.
A—Majority of the staff members use ICT based teaching methods, as the institution has provided personal lap-tops to all the faculty members and moreover all the class rooms are also well equipped with multi-media projectors and audio-visual aids. Assignment submission of various subjects is also done through e-mail.
5. R-Efforts for soft skill development of all students to be strengthen.A—College regularly conducts Expert lectures, work-shops, training sessions for soft skills development. In class room also they have been provided with the platform for nourishing their soft skills through oral presentation of their assignment topics in front of class. Scientific language lab is also set up to enrich soft skills of the students.

6. R-College may consider for soft skill offering short term courses and new programs in Tourism, Hospitality Management, Journalism& Mass communication, Psychology, Music and Fine Arts, Food & Nutrition, Fashion Designing etc. for career progression.
A—Considering the trends of job market the college has organized various short term certificate courses like, CCC, Scope, Retail Management and Tally Accounting.
7. R-Library facilities & book collection in the library to be improved.
A-- Carpet area of the library has been expanded. There has been a considerable increase and up gradation in number of computers with internet facility. Number of books in the library has almost been doubled in the last five years. The institution has also subscribed for online journals and e resources.
8. R—Facilities and training in sports and extracurricular activities need to be strengthen.
A—Various workshops and training sessions have been organized for extracurricular & sports activities .There is remarkable up gradation in infrastructural & equipment facilities
9. R—Students may be sensitized to women’s issues of the present day.
A—A separate women’s cell has been established. This cell has organized various activities like gender sensitization, awareness programme, surveys and exhibition.
10. R—Steps may be taken to set up an active entrepreneurship development
A—For entrepreneurial development the institution has followed series of activities. It has developed linkages with various industries and also organized business fair, industrial visits, exhibitions, lectures form CED and DIC.

2. Student Feedback Analysis
Shri J.H. Bhalodia women’s college being student centric organisation, always collects feedback from students regarding teacher’s quality. This tool is significantly utilised for improvement in teaching pedagogy, teachers mentoring, and improvement in subject, content and analysis. This is very strong mechanism to improve teaching learning process and methods.
Objectives
To keep in mind students need and consider their views regarding teaching learning process
To make improvement in teaching pedagogy and inject innovation in the process
Monitoring teacher’s quality and performance by keeping in mind their ability to serve internal customers(students)
Take necessary action at the institution level to modify teaching learning system.
Methodology
In order to collect feedback from students, questionnaire method is utilised. There are two type of questionnaires designed
1. Questionnaire in Gujarati language for gujarati medium students
2. Questionnaire in english language for B.com english medium students and B.B.A and M.com students
Every year feedbacks are collected from all classes and analysis is done end of the year, concern teachers are informed regarding feedback and head of the institution arranges one to one meeting to discuss student’s feedback. The institution decided to collect response from 15 questions pertaining to different areas of teaching learning process.
As far as feedback analysis is concerned, it is done on the basis of 5 selected parameters as it is difficult to analyse each question for every faculty. The responses are measured in terms of deriving ratios from total responds and data represented graphically using bar chart method.

Conclusion
Most of the teachers take class regularly.
Majority of the students found subject oriented teaching in the class room.
As far as innovative teaching pedagogy is concerned, it is found that the courses have dynamism in nature, there is great scope of using innovative techniques or in case of technical subject the scope is limited.
The role of mentor for academic and personal counselling is generally done by permanent faculties.
Overall teaching learning process is found satisfactory

Students have experienced that their demand for books are considered in new purchasing
Students are contented with Sufficiency of reference book
Above analysis shows that students are contented with library services like collection of reference books, magazines and journals. Students appreciate informative display of library resources. However, result shows that students need more facilities for computer and internet access.
