The landscape of Goierri is formed by a lot of mountains. The most important mountains are in Aralar ( Txindoki, Gaztelu, Ganbo,...) and in Aizkorri( Aizkorri, Aitxuri, Aketegi,...). There are some lakes like Arriaran, Lareo, Baliarrain... .

But there are also fields and normally we use them for agriculture. So in many fields we can see farms and orchards with tomatoes, potatoes, lettuces, carrots, leeks...

Another important activity for our economy is industry. In the past in The Basque Country there were a lot of mines and one of the most inportant ones was in Zerain.

CAF: Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles (CAF) is a rail equipment manufacturer based in Beasain (oue neighbour town) in the Basque Country, Spain. The equipment manufactured by CAF includes light rail vehicles, rapid transit trains, railroad cars and locomotives, as well as, variable gauge axles that can be fitted on any existing truck or bogie.CAF has supplied railway rolling stock to a number of major urban transit operators around Europe, the USA, South America, East Asia, India and North Africa.

Irizar: Irizar Group is a Basque-based builder of luxury coach vehicle bodies, established in 1889. It is located in Ormaiztegi(near Ordizia) in the Basque Country, Spain. It was formerly a part of the Mondragon Cooperative Corporation. Irizar also has factories in other countries: in Skhirat (Morocco), Tianjin (China), Botucatu (Brazil), Querétaro (México), Centurion (South Africa) and in Tamil Nadu (India)

Txindoki: Txindoki or Larrunarri is an iconic mountain (1,346 m) located in the region of Goierri, Gipuzkoa, in the Basque Autonomous Community of Spain. Originally Larrunarri or Ñañarri,the mount took on the popularized name Txindoki by extension after some shepherd huts nearby.
