Work with SD card(offline)

Step1. Connect lights, slave controller and

H805TC like the following image.

I connect H801RC to NET1 and NET2, you can also just

connect H801RC to NET1.

If you want to control for example WS2812B strip,

just connect GND, DI on strip to GND, DAT on slave

controller.

Step2. Download and Install LED Build Software

In this mode(SD card mode), you need LED Build

Software.

Step3. Program in LED Build Software

In the video, I show H805TC connects one

H801RC, if you connect more, same theory.

Basically, you can learn everything you need to

make H805TC work in the video. The following is

some text explanation.

Place Pixels

Assume only one H801RC is connected to H805TC

Light Setting

Tips

(1) . In sculpt window, you can press “Ctrl” as

dragging a rectangle from a point, you can set

size as you wish.

(2) . when you choose color in color plate, click

one color, press “Ctrl” as clicking another

color(or the same color), one color will gradually

change to another color.

Step4. Output controller data and put it into SD

card

Step5. Configure H805TC with 4 buttons

Assume you have 3 files named 01.dat, 02.dat,

03.dat in sd card.

Power H805TC on

Long press "MENU" to switch to English

Then, press “MENU”

Switch files

Press “MENU”

Set speed, press "OK" to save settings

In the latest version of H805TC, we change

“SET” to “OK”.

Press “MENU”

Set brightness, press "OK" to save settings

Press “MENU”

Set Play Mode

Single: controller only plays one single file

Week:

Monday: controller plays the first file

Tuesday: controller plays the second file

.

.

.

Sunday: controller plays the seventh file.

In this example, you only have 3 files.

So,

Monday: controller plays file 01.dat

Tuesday: controller plays file 02.dat

Wednesday: controller plays file 03.dat

Thursday: controller plays file 01.dat

Friday: controller plays file 02.dat

Saturday: controller plays file 03.dat

Sunday: controller plays file 01.dat

If you have 10 files for example named as 001.dat,

002.dat.......010.dat, controller just plays the first

seven files(001.dat, 002.dat......007.dat). Controller

will not play the last three files(008.dat, 009.dat,

010.dat).

Date (same theory as “Week”):

In one month, first day: play the first file

.

.

.

.

31th day: play the 31th file.

In this example, on the fourth day, controller

will play 01.dat.

If you have for example 40 files, the 32th to

40th file will not be played.

Lunar: Lunar only applies in China, you can ignore

it.

Table: controller will play dat files as scheduled in

timetable made in “LED Build Software”.

The following displays how to make timetable in

“LED Build Software”.

In main window, click “Tool” -- “Schedule”.

Software pops up the following window:

1. Choose “Clock Module”

2. Choose Time Zone

3. Choose playing by “Week”, “Gregorian” or

“Lunar”.

4. Choose on which day, what time, to do what (play

the specified file or adjust brightness).

The above means: on Monday, 9 AM(start from this

point), play the third file.

5. Click “Add”

6. Click “Save”

7. Copy 123.tab and dat files into SD card, set “

Play Mode” as “Table”, controller will play dat files

as scheduled.

Example:

The timetable above means: everyday from 18:00,

controller play the fifth file, from 20:00( except

August 1), play the second file. On Sunday, from

22:00, brightness will turn to be 18. When it’s

August 1, 20:00, controller will play the third file.

Note:

(1). At the same time, for example 20:00, controller

will play file at the lower position(as described

above), which means the lower file always has the

first priority.

(2). When you power controller before 18:00,

controller will play the specified file set by button,

when it’s 18:00, controller will play files as

scheduled in timetable. When you power controller

after 18:00, controller will play files scheduled in

timetable immediately.

Press “OK” to save settings

Press “MENU”

It’s fixed, you cannot change it.

Press “MENU”

This function is used when H805TC is connected to

DMX console

For example:

If DMX Address is 1, you can use channel 1,2,3 on

DMX Console to switch files, change speed and

brightness.

If DMX Address is 3, you can use channel 3,4,5 on

DMX Console to switch files, change speed and

brightness.

In a word, the DMX Address is the starting channel on

DMX Console.

Press “MENU”

Press “OK” and two arrows to set current time.

Then press “OK” to save settings

Control DMX512 chips

H805TC can control H801RC, H802RA and H801RA

three kinds of slave controllers(they all support

DMX512 protocol),

but by using H805TC + H802RA, you can set DMX

address for DMX512 chips.
