BREAK OPEN THE TOMB
Lord of Easter's Promise,
I live in faith of the Resurrection,
but such is the nature of my faith
that so much of me remains entombed.
Break open the tomb.
Where I've buried compassion,
break open the tomb.
Where I've buried my sense of mercy,
break open the tomb.
Where I've buried my humility,
break open the tomb.
Where I've buried my humanity,
break open the tomb.
Where I've buried my love for my Heavenly
Father, break open the tomb.
Where I've buried my sense of joy,
break open the tomb.
Where I've buried my willingness to forgive,
break open the tomb.
Lord, in you I've buried a Savior
no grave can withstand.
Help me to roll away this stone
and find the miracle of new life
that I may live more fully in your saving grace.
Amen.

"I heard everything in the universe cry out."
Everything in heaven and on earth, under the
earth and in the sea, everything in the cosmos,
cries out: “Glory and honor and might and
blessing be to the Lamb.”
Let us sing with them your words, “Holy, holy,
holy, heaven and earth are full of your glory.
Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the
world. Grant us peace!” Copyright 2018, Anne M. Osdieck. All rights reserved. Used with Permission.

“Holy Immaculate Mary, help all who are in
trouble. Give courage to the faint-hearted,
console the sad, heal the infirm, pray for the
people, intercede for the clergy, have a special
care for nuns; may all feel, all enjoy your kind
and powerful assistance, all who now and always
render and will render your honor, and will offer
you their petitions. Hear all our prayers, O
Mother, and grant them all. We are all your
children: Grant the prayers of your children.
Amen forever.” – Pope St. John XXIII ___________________________________________________
