What is this diet?

The AHA strongly endorses consumption of a diet that all the food categories and emphasize fruits and vegetables.

Who is this diet for?

This is mainly for people who fight cardiovascular disease which generally refers to conditions that involve narrowed or blocked blood vessels that can lead to a heart attack, chest pain or stoke.

What food to eat?

A variety of nutritious foods like vegetables, fruit, poultry, and fish.

Limit red meat, sugary foods and beverages.
