Jupiter

Jupiter is the fifth planet from the Sun and the largest planet within the Solar System.

Jupiter has the largest planetary atmosphere in the Solar System, spanning over 5000 km in altitude

Interesting Facts About Jupiter

The mass of Jupiter is 318 times the mass of the Earth. In fact, Jupiter has 2.5 times the mass of all the other planets in the Solar System combined

Jupiter can’t ever become a star. Jupiter is the fastest spinning planet in

the Solar System

The Clouds on Jupiter are only 50 km thick

The Great Red Spot has been around for a long time(almost 350 year)

Jupiter has rings. Jupiter’s magnetic field is 14 times as

strong as Earth. Jupiter has 66 moons. Jupiter has been visited 7 times by

spacecraft from Earth. You can see Jupiter with your own eyes.

Introduction

Jupiter shows a pattern of clouds of white, brown, and orange. And then there is the Great Red Spot.

Other cloud shapes include eddy shapes, white ovals, brown ovals, and brown barge.

Jupiter is perpetually covered with clouds composed of ammonia crystals and possibly ammonium hydrosulfide.

The darker material is thought to be compounds brought up from deeper inside Jupiter, and then change color in sunlight.

Targets

To find out all Jupiter clouds width. To find out the Great Red Spot width. To find all geographic latitudes of

Jupiter. To find scale.

Hypothesis

I think that all Jupiter clouds width will be same size.

Work progress

I found Jupiter’s center.

I found Jupiter’s pivot and equator.

I found Jupiter’s radius.

ab

R

I found Jupiter's zone geographic latitude.

A

BO

I found all Jupiter's zones geographic latitudes.

I found scaled.› R0 – radius of Jupiter

› R – my radius.

I found Jupiter’s strips widths.

I found Great Red Spot’s width.

Results

Earth’s width is almost same like Jupiter’s Great Red Spot’s width.› 12 756,274 km› 16 597.1km

Inference

My hypothesis didn’t reasserted. Now I know a lot of fact about Jupiter. I know how to calculate latitude. I know how to find scale.

Thank you
