Mazel Tov to The Schaeffers on the engagement of their daughter, Tamara, to Yitz Goldman, son of Joe and Shari Goldman, of Yerushalayim. The Schaeffers invite the Kehilla to a Vort on Sunday, January 4th starting at 8:30pm at the Carlebach shul on Nachal Dolev 70.

Leil Shabbos Oneg

Don’t you have any questions for the Rav? The Leil Shabbos Oneg is the perfect opportunity to ask the Rav any question and receive an ‘off the record’ response (no recording equipment allowed ;-)). Sunrise is now 6:54—the latest it gets in Ramat Beit Shemesh. That means you can just about get up at the normal time and still get the “benefits” of davening at sunrise! We start every day 25 minutes before sunrise—starting around 6:25 or so this coming week (and 45 minutes before sunrise on Shabbos).
