Temporary Administrative Assistant Officer at Temasek Polytechnic (2 Jan 2012 – 2 Apr 2012)

Responsible for the renewing of the staff passes for all Temasek Polytechnic teaching staff(Temp, Contract, Permanent and Adjunct)

Registered and assessed walk-in staff to determine their priority of photoshoot and ensure that teaching staff was satisfied with the photos taken.

Communicated appointment timings and schedule to all teaching staff to ensure no delays for photoshoot.

Carried out ad-hoc duties i.e. for events such as staff seminars and staff lunch meetings.

NTU School of Civil and Environmental Engineering

Was the team leader under the supervision of Prof Chiew Yee Meng, Dean of Civil and Environmental Engineering to conceive the idea of a variable salinity plant in Mekong region from the success of Marina Barrage in Singapore.

COMMUNITY SERVICE ACTIVITIES

National Heartware Volunteers (23 June 2013 –9 August 2013) Youth leader in National Day (NDP) 2013 Parade and responsible

for coordinating the distribution of funpacks and facilitate crowd management in the Marina Bay Floating Platform.

Jubilee Presbyterian Church Was appointed the secretary in Jubilee Church Youth Camp 2011

committee and executed secretariat duties (oversaw dissemination and archiving of notes of meetings, monitoring the attendance of the participants and help to handle camp fees and catering expenses) and also led the execution of the Youth Camp Big Games.

Serving in the Children’s Ministry as a Teacher to teach Bible lessons to a group of Primary 5 children and made lessons interactive through art and craft sessions and media.

Held the appointment of Vice-Captain in the Tennis Team. In charge of conducting training sessions for the team in the absence of coach and had feedback sessions with my team mates on techniques to improve on their game play

Initiated weekly Saturday training regime to build up physical fitness and motivated them to give their best performance and to have a strong team spirit.

Liaise with other Junior Colleges to organize friendly matches for the Tennis Team to brush up their game play and prepared mentally leading up to ‘A’ Division Tennis Championships
