The Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ June 18, 2017
Among the compelling Eucharistic themes proclaimed in today’s readings is the notion of “participation” as found in Saint Paul’s letter to the Corinthians. Good stewards are part of a Eucharistic family: loving, welcoming, serving. An important part of living as a steward comes about in the many ways we can participate in the life of the Church. No matter how much time we have to give, no matter what our skills or interests, no matter what our level of commitment, there is a way to participate as a good steward to enrich our lives and the lives of others to build up the Body of Christ. How do you participate in the life of your parish?
Let us remember and pray for our beloved departed, especially for Manuel Brazil that they may
receive the abundant fruit of God’s presence and also for their loved ones that they may receive God’s
consolation and peace at this difficult time.
Remember Your Father in a
Special Way
Fr. Marcelinus will be offering a Novena of
Masses for our Fathers beginning Sunday, June
18th. Envelopes will be available in the main
entrance of the church. Please fill out the
offering envelope and drop it in the basket in
front of the Altar on Father’s day weekend.
The card is yours to send to your special Dad.
This is a nice way to remember your father
either living or deceased or a special person in
your life, on his day, by sending a Spiritual
Bouquet!

And each one helps the other”
Ahhhh Summertime……and the living is easy!
But the bills don’t go on vacation. Please keep
up your weekly budget contributions even the
weeks you are away. Our increased costs (e.g.
for air conditioning, watering, etc.) during the
summer makes your contribution very
important. Thank you! And God bless you
and watch over you during your summer
travels.
