Amity Youth Festival 2014 is scheduled for 6th- 8th February, 2014 at Amity UniversityCampus, Sec-125, Noida. AYF 2014 is planned as a portal through which students &professionals from various esteemed institutions & organizations across India wouldparticipate.

Last year’s AYF witnessed more than 63000 students & corporate delegates across thecountry taking part in over 250 technical, management & cultural events conductedover a three day schedule. Celebrities like Salim Sulaiman, Edward Maya, SonuNigam & Kailash Kher were the main performers who drove the entire crowd in tothe melodious soothing.

This year too, top celebrities & experts are being invited to judge the technical &cultural events which will have the participation of a large number of students &corporate delegates.

Itprovides you a platform to showcase your creativity and splash yourimagination in jingles, words and posters.Juke box aims to probe the imagination and innovation ofparticipating teams through its three rounds:• Round 1: Crazy Jingles! Create the jingles based on the picture.• Round 2: Crochet! Sew up the threads into a story and enact it.• Round 3: Picasso- poster Coaster! Based on multiple themes,

Lakshya, a B-Plan competition organized by Amity University, Noida isan opportunity to reward young, fresh minds having ideas. If you wantto turn your idea into an entrepreneurial venture, then this is theperfect stage for you.

• Participation in the event should comprise of 2 to 3 members in ateam.

• The event shall be organized over a few rounds, where participantsshall submit executive summaries initially and shortlisted few shalldeliver presentations, after being mentored by an expert panel.

The competition has successfully pioneered a format for debate thattakes ideas, argument and young people seriously. The focus is oncontent and substance over style, encouraging young people toengage in an intelligent contest of ideas and holding up their ideasto critical scrutiny.

Global EDGE provides anopportunity to the participants to showcase their skills and theparticipating teams will attempt the following rounds: Backgrounder -, basic information test of the participants about global businesses andnations, Around the World in 8 questions – Information about BRICSnations will be tested and the respondents will answer questionsabout BRIC nations, Pictionary and a JAM Session – the team willguess the concept upon drawing by the fellow team member and willhave to explain the same.

Event Description:

Technology is the new currency of power, a critical resource in today’sinformation intensive economy. “INNOTECH”– An IT Event aims toprobe the imagination and innovation of participating teams throughfollowing rounds:Round 1: NeuerungIn this round, each team would be given a crossword in which theyneed to find maximum possible IT related words hidden in thecrossword.Round 2: PraudyōgikīIn this round, each team would get a stipulated amount of time inorder to present any recent innovation which is related to IT in anyfield under the sky. Juries will judge the presentation and theinnovation on various grounds.Round 3: IT étonnerThis is a small surprise and fun filled round in which teams would begiven a specific task in order to complete in stipulated amount of time.
