By receiving this training, you are committing yourself to reaching out to vulnerable populations in recent immigrant communities, recruiting trainers, and training them on victim-identification and prevention, for at least one year. Becoming an Amistad Trainer will enable you to:
Educate and empower at-risk communities to prevent exploitation
Identify victims of human trafficking and inform them on available help
Are you interested in preventing human trafficking by joining the Amistad Movement?
Become a Community Educator through a weekend of intensive formation and training at the Amistad Institute!
The Amistad Institute will be held at the Ob-late Renewal Center, in San Antonio, Texas, November 4—6, 2016.
