Life in northeastern Bali is extremely tough. Many families live on or below the poverty line, struggling to feed their children and enduring hard labor for the smallest of wages. We want to help the young people of the region to escape this vicious circle of poverty by providing them with the skills and confidence to build themselves a better life and fresh hope for the future.

We are doing this through the launch of a new, innovative, and engaging fundraising campaign: “Buy a Brick – Build a Brighter Future.”

Together we can provide a strong foundation for the future - help us build the Desa Les Community Center.

The Desa Les Community Center (DLCC) is a USD 1.6M construction project to createing a vocational training center in northeastern Bali. Students of the center will receive a comprehensive vocational education focused on culinary arts skills, Hospitality Management management training, English Language teaching, and life-skills courses. With these skills, they will then be able to secure good jobs in Bali’s booming hospitality industry.

The “Buy a Brick – Build a Brighter Future” campaign aims to support the construction of the Desa Les Community Center DLCC by selling single bricks for just USD 200. A USD 200 donation not only helps the physical construction but also offers you the chance to engage with this incredible project and become an important part of its future.

There are 6,000 bricks available, and if we manage to secure donors for each of these, we will have sufficient to complete the construction of the Desa Les Community Center. Every brick donor will receive recognition on our Wall of Support and will, therefore, automatically be offered the chance to become part of the DLCC journey.
